I bet that the first thing that came to mind was “WTF?” (for many, at least), but then if you think about it again, your mouth may start watering a little bit.
Think of Trader Joe’s Milk Chocolate Covered Mini Pretzels. That stuff’s wicked! In fact, I have a bag in the fridge…see you in a bit while I snack. I suddenly got the munchies.

Guess who’s selling chocolate-covered French Fries?
I never would have guessed, really, but when I found out, it was an “Of course!” moment.
McDonald’s Japan.
McChocolate Potatoes are what they’re called, and they look weird to me. I guess it’s that white stuff (white chocolate?) that’s questionable. Also, I was thinking of the fries actually being covered with chocolate and not slathered with it.
Weird fast-food chain offerings around the world are not unheard of – though weird is as weird does. For example, a Chicken and Spaghetti Meal at McDonald’s is big in the Philippines – which people in other countries don’t get. Oh, and you can get rice with the fried chicken as well.
